Chemflow were delighted to sponsor a Charity Gala Dinner on September 15th, in aid of Shooting Star Chase and Onelife charities.
We are always looking for new ways to help raise money for our nominated charity: The Shooting Star Chase Hospice, an extremely worthwhile local charity. This event also supported another local charity called Onelife. Onelife UK are a London based Charity who provide essential life skills to young people in your local area through DJ/Music and Film Production academies. They work to help vulnerable young people realise their potential and make a successful transition to adulthood. Their patron is Brooke Kinsella.
Lots of other celebrities attended the evening, including Theo Paphitis, Ryan Thomas, Tim Vine & Beverley Knight, plus Sky Sports news, OK magazine and AFC Wimbledon - all of whom gave their time for free to help these charities.
I think this letter we received says it all:
We are writing to you today to thank you and to extend our gratitude for your generosity in sponsoring the Paul Strank Roofing Charity Gala, as you already know the event is organised on an entirely voluntary basis and relies upon donations and sponsorships to make the events what they are on the night.
Your Contribution and commitment to the event made all the difference this year and has enabled us to raise in excess of £50,000.00 for the beneficiaries of the night ShootingStar Chase and OneLife UK whom as your aware are two very worthwhile charities that specifically target their help towards the children of impoverished, disadvantaged or life limited backgrounds.
We hope that you and your guests enjoyed the Gala as much as we enjoyed organising it and a special thank you for the wonderful bouquet of flowers it was very kind of you to send them.
With the Warmest of Regards
Paul & Irene Strank
